Coupling Paste
Ultrasonic probes are coupled onto the surface of the test specimen by coupling media. The coupling medium prevents the creation of an air gap between probe and test specimen, which would hinder the beam to enter into the test specimen.
HELLING coupling pastes are water-removable. The amount of sulfur and halogens are below 50 ppm each. Additives for prevention of corrosion and bactericides are already included.
The coupling pastes are available in different colours and for different temperatures ranges.
